Small Art Quilt, Fabric Wall Hanging, Contemporary Fiber Art, Sun or Moon Landscape Scene

10″ x 8″

This art quilt “Mini Millefiori Moonlight” is a smaller and simpler version of my art quilt “Millefiori Moonlight” and features a yellow moon with one fabric millefiori circle on it. There are four clouds in oranges, reds, and purples that also have millefiori circles on them.

The background is made of blue and purple fabrics to be the night sky and two purple fabric mountain ranges with yarn couched around the mountain ranges. Glass beads are hand sewn in the lower right hand corner. It is made of commercial and batik cotton fabrics and is fused raw-edge applique with navy and purple threads that were machine quilted to echo the shapes of the clouds and the mountain ranges with the quilting lines 1/4″ apart.

It has a knife-edge binding and comes with a hanging sleeve and rod, ready to hang on a nail.
